Gentlemen:
The accident recounted by the NTSB page had me thinking. The report seems to suggest that a papertowel was left in the engine compartment and that clogged the turbo. I had often wondered if it were possible to design a cowling which would be easily opened for pre-flight inspections.
I always wondered why this wasn't in the original design (probably to reduce drag) but I would think that somewhere on the LML is someone who has an answer?
Regards,
Dave
