Clarifications requested:
From Dan Schafer -- Tighten the B-nut by hand until snug, then 1-1.5 FLATS or 1-1.5 TURNS? I know you said FLATS, but that would be about 1/4 TURN. That seems too little but 1.5 turns seems too much.
From Bob Smiley -- What temperature do you need to get to anneal the aluminum? My household oven goes to 500 F or so. Will this do? (Obviously, with this approach I need to wait until my wife is out of the house...)
From Walt Dodson -- I have a Parker Rolo-Flair tool which I bought new at Oshkosh for about $60-70. Is this the cheap tool, the double lap tool, or what? It has a 3-lobed cone that spins with a hand-cranked lever and is slowly pushed into the end of the tube. It is not one of those "turn the wrenches" $15 flaring tools. Seems to work well enough....
Thanks guys. - Rob Wolf
