The EFI pulse-counting method is great, and from what I understand it is
commonly used in the automotive world.  In fact, the maker of the software
for my EFI just came out with a new release of the software that will show
fuel burn in GPH.

But this doesn't help my situation - trying to interface with standard
aviation stuff- like the VisionMicro product.

So, how are production planes handling the issue???
