I don't know if this was an oversight on the part of my builder or a design problem. Whichever, as a solution, I have altered the seat belt straps so that the buckle is now all the way to the right allowing the shoulder strap to cover my entire upper body. I highly recommend this fix. Better would be a four point harness. I look forward to news on that project. One of my concerns in flying my IVP is that in a forced landing situation with our much higher approach and landing speeds our probability of survival is substantially reduced. I say substantially because I understand that for any given stopping distance g forces go up with the square of the speed. I would like to reduce this relative additional risk if possible. I will have more specific technical information which I will share when I get it. Any thoughts.
