D.C Cox,
On our IV-P we're going with the same belts that are used on the Lancair
Columbia. - Three point with inertia reel, lap-belt tightens independently.
Passengers in the back seats will not have a shoulder harness unless we
find a way to install one.
The Columbia belts are type: 5-01-465710 REV A. Pricing a few months ago
was $300 for each front seat belt, $90 for each back seat lap belt.
We're gettin them from:
SCHROTH Safety Products Corp.
1371 SW 8th St 8A
Pompano Beach, FL 33069 USA

One thing to consider is whether the shoulder harness will be in the way
of people climbing into the back seats. Will comment on that once we have
installed them in a few weeks.
I didn't dare ask yet but it would be really helpful if we could borrow a
seatbelt from the columbia plant for a day (we're on field) before we
ordered our own from schroth - Lance are you reading this ?
Or if anyone on the list has already installed those on a IV, info would
be greatly appreciated.
Regards, fili
