I know I should be happy with my 35 landings on the McCreary tires I got
for my IV, but does any one have a objective comparison of FC II or
Michelins (or any other recommendations) that I now need?  The nose
looks ok for now, but should I go with a similar brand all the way
around?

Any issues regarding dimensions?  How many landings are typical for a
set of tires?  I land as slow as possible with minimal braking and
always use the longest runway when feasible.  Also, how long on a set of
brake pads, and any preferences there?
