Better ground the whole system to the earth while
you're at it. I have simply used a barrel pump to
return the fuel to the plane through a strainered
metal funnel.

Using a bucket to empty gas from a wing is a death
wish. I know of three
bucket disasters--one burned down a whole hanger
complex, and another
