I flew with Pat Brunner two weeks ago in his great IV-P.  I couldn't reach
the seat release to pull forward and get to the pedals without slipping out
of the shoulder harness.  Once back in the harness I found it uncomfortable
and restrictive. The factory angle of the harness stinks. I believe an
inertia reel is a must for this aircraft.  A four point harness would be
even better.  Let's figure this one out for all our sake.
