Steve,
  My response to your build time question was in no way meant to steer you
away from building a Legacy.  You couldn't possibly pick a better kitplane
or a better kitplane company to deal with.  I mention the conditions under
which the factory build times are possible only because Lancair doesn't make
them clear to potential customers unless specifically asked the right
questions.  I had to find that out on my own.
