Either a bad ground or a low voltage spike that is resetting some of the
digital circuitry. If you don't find anything with a voltmeter, rent an
osciloscope and look for low voltage spikes that will drop the voltage
past the minimum voltage for your VM display. You may have to filter
the light switch.

>I installed Tim Ong's landing and taxi lights. Worked great
and looks real niffty! However, recently, when I turn on the lights, my
VisionMirco display gauges either goes completely blank or displays weird
symbols.<
Sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere that is common to both the VM
and landing lights. I'm assuming all other electronics function normally
when the lights are on.
Get your volt meter out and start tracing it down.
