Steve,
on the subject of header tanks, has there been a significant number of
fatalities caused by this design, and if so:
-how many fatalities?
-what was the cause? crash? canopy trap?
-has there been more fatalities caused by forgetting about the valve,
burning one tank dry, and loosing control of the aircraft since the ailerons
cannot hold up one partial wing wet and one wing dry (that point was from a
Lancair technician)?
I wonder if there is a better way to connect all 3 tanks together? I don't
like the fuel in the cockpit either. I just though I had to live with it.
wonder if there is a float valve that would shut off when it drew air?
