My Bendix/King HSI heading bug stopped responding to the knob, which would just spin, after the A/P (Stec-50) was engaged, and HSI/530 selected. I was intermittently able to turn the bug, but when approaching the actual heading, the bug disengaged and knob would just spin. Turning the A/P off then back on, would sometimes re engage the bug, but the same symptoms reoccurred. Thanks, Bob C, IV-P
