"Are you getting a full 45 down?  Mine have only a complete travel of 26 deg.  Maybe this is something I should change?"

I have a 360 MKII with outback flaps and only got maybe 25-30 deg. of travel with the original setup. I had to re-drill the control horn in order to for the geometry to work. - Oh, and I also had to fabricate new pushrods......

I now have full travel as per the manual, but only just. In the "up" position, the control just touches the seat back, in the full dowm position, the actuator-to-control horn angle is very shallow, maybe 170 deg., which puts a lot of strain on the system.

A slightly shorter control horn might have helped a little, as would some seatback core removal.
