Bill,

I am confused by the “the metal connector on the stranded wire from the servo to the elevator pushrod” statement.  And also by what is a non-metallic metal??

Craig:

Wouldnt hurt to try.

I found that the metal connector on the stranded wire from the servo to the elevator pushrod

gave me a problem.  I had a new connector machined from a non-metallic metal that seemed to solve the problem.

Good Luck, Bill Hogarty

I have a WX 500 Stormscope installed in my IV-P.  With the autopilot turned off it works perfectly but with the autopilot on, it lights up with false strikes.  I suspect the AP servo motor near the WX 500 antenna is the culprit. Do you antenna/electronics experts believe I would be successful shielding the antenna with lead foil either at the antenna or at the servo motor?
