It strikes me that ABS would work well on our little birds. Consider:
ABS is designed to stop wheel lockup. When it detects a lock up, it releases the brake momentarily.
Differential braking to steer relies on both wheels rolling. One simply rolls more slowly.
The only time one wheel is intentionally locked is in a pivot, typically near a parking space at extremely slow speed.
Would someone please remind me what the conceptual difficulty is?
