Been usin= g my IPad 3 in my 360 since they came out. Do it in hard IFR, on approaches= , VFR etc. I just rest it on my right leg and the center console. Love it!!= Yes, direct sun is an issue, but when the chips are down in the clag, the c= lag itself is your friend to make the display perfectly readable. In sunny c= onditions, I've=20 got all day to reposition it. If you don't have a sun shade, get one. See t= he Van's site, for the side-by-side versions. They are great.
