Good morning All,

We are working with the Hilton on obtaining a few more rooms for the night of October 3. There are still a very few rooms left for Oct. 2. On Monday, Sept. 16, the Hilton will know how many rooms they can release from a block committed to another group prior to our event. In the meantime, if you are trying to get reservations at the Hilton, please ask for the LANCAIR RATE. They informed us this morning several people had tried to book under LOBO. After the booking staff informed our Hilton coordinator, they did add the name LOBO to the block. However, LANCAIR works best without confusion.

ALSO – they suggested you go ahead and book the other dates you want at the Hilton as rooms are available NOW and request you be placed on the wait list for Oct. 3. They can then easily move you into one of the openings that become available.

Lisa and I are also working to refine the list and may be able to come up with a few extra rooms from that list. PLEASE SEND US AN EMAIL with your needs and that you have booked the other available dates -- include those dates and if you requested the wait list – DO NOT PHONE US. It will be easier for us to keep track if we have your request and information in writing. Also – note my original email below said you must book by Sept. 9 – apologies for my error and fingers – the last date to book is September 19. However, do not wait as availability is going fast.

1. We have learned the Hilton is indicating they are booked for some of the nights Oct. 2-5 for the LOBO-Lancair Landing. We spoke with the Hilton today, and they will be able to release a few more rooms in the next few days. So if you are unable to book, try back in a day or two. Also – you should use the link provided below to book. Do not delay in booking your room if you have not done so. 2. Did you complete a Registration Form? If not, your registration packet cannot be ready for you upon arrival in Greenville and will slow down your check-in for the Landing. Be sure to include whether you are flying – what type Lancair (or other type aircraft) – and your “N” number as we will give a list to the FBO for those who can get the 30 cent fuel discount as well as free tie down. Go to www.lancairowners.com – click on the Landing Logo – at the bottom of the third page. Please do this electronically as that is the most efficient way for us to collect this information.
