Hmmm,
This comment from Adam Frisch in the UK is quite descriptive, don't you think?

Guam to Jacksonville - non stop!
Retired American Airlines captain Bill Harrelson (who's wife Sue is a retired United captain, btw) just landed in Jacksonville, FL where he'd flown non stop from Guam in his little homebuilt Lancair 2-seat single engine airplane, beating Max Conrad's "unbeatable" record from 1959 when he flew from Cairo direct to Los Angeles (in a Comanche). He spent 40hrs aloft and without sleep, covering more than 8000 miles. Most of those hours over the Pacific with absolutely no alternatives in case of any malfunction. Still a few with the adventurous spirit out there. How he fit his huge balls in to the cockpit the story doesn't tell. I can only tip my hat to Bill Harrelson today - respect, boss man!

Hi,
Bill just took off from Guam headed for Jacksonville, FL. It should take between 33 and 34 hours,
depending on winds. You can follow on FlightAware (which is off by 24 hours) or Spidertracks.
