Good question   I typically shoot for 135 once I get to 100agl and then keep it there to cruise altitude if I am only going to 7k or so

Folks

I have observed an interesting phenomenon on which I would like some feedback from the group

When I fly my 360 the first flight of the day my CHTs run up to 400F but if I fly the second time an hour later after enjoying the $100 hamburger my CHTs will consistently run 25F cooler.  In both cases I am taking off with oil temp running around 130 to 130F.  The engine is an IO360A1A

Anybody with similar experience or can offer an explanation?

Thanks

Tom
