My incremental safety issue was getting rid of the reels and = increasing the belt strength. The belts and hardware have a higher = rating so the attach point is still the same risk as before. I'm = guessing it is similar or better to the common attach point at the top = of the fuselage but I have no data for that. Of all the attach points = on the Legacy, the backrest in the photo appears to be the strongest of = them all on my Legacy. I think the center console attach for the lap = is weakest and the outside fuselage bolt for the lap is next weakest. = I think they would all need doublers and extra bids to prevent the bolts = from pulling out of the structure. If I had better data I would be prepared to add some beef to the attach = points or move them. I don't see it being too difficult to add doublers = to any of those locations but I'm not a builder so I would wait for = someone better to come along with a plan and photos.
