I need the part number of my engine's intake gaskets.
Here is the info:
Engine: Continental IO-550 N
Intake gasket: Where the steel air intake tube attaches to the top of the
cylinder. It's a three hole round gasket about 2" in diameter.
Thursday I pulled the magneto for a 500 hour "inspect and repair as
needed." I had to remove one of the intake tubes to get room
to remove the mag. The gasket between the intake tube and the
cylinder tore as I lifted up the intake tube. Anybody know the
Continental part number for the intake gasket, which I think I need to order a
new one from an FBO?
