I am a Lancair builder and have for
years been able to look at a lot of Lancairs and network with the builders,
which is one of the main reasons I attend the event. In the last few years
it seems this very popular kit airplane has not had a designated area, and
finding the bulk of the planes in one assembled spot is no longer an
option.
I'm sure I speak for a lot of
Lancair owners and/or enthusiasts in requesting a designated Lancair Parking
area. Small features like this make the event so much more enjoyable for
all that attend. I know several owners will not attend when they will be
placed out in the general parking area, where few true Lancair enthusiasts will
see them.
