| Last week I received the fuel pump cooling shroud I had ordered from Aircraft Spruce following a recommendation from a fellow LMLer. Following installation and testing I can confirm that this simple, inexpensive change completely eliminated my engine surge issues. I want to sincerely thank all those that responded to my call for help as once again I was able to fix a problem as a direct result of input from this list.
As an aside I also installed the Lancair 320/360 "legacy like" canopy latch kit and it works great! I highly recommend it to anyone with a forward hinge canopy wanting to upgrade their standard latch set up.
