The FAA leadership has offered to allow it on an "ex= ceptional" basis for Lancair aircraft and we're working hard to take them u= p on this. EAA is strongly supporting this and would like to take advantage= of it for all E-AB aircraft. We agree with this but must take sure and car= eful initial steps. IF we mess this up, the idea will be set back many year= s... We'll take a bow if and when it's actually accomplished.
