I was able to successfully remove multiple IVP tires.
1. Remove the valve stem
2. Unbolt the 2 halves.
3. Stand on the tire/rim to hold it firmly against the concrete floor (I could not dance them off, but cowboy boots are the shoes of choice to do such. Sketchers don’t work.)
4. Place a 2X4 on the tire next to the rim.
5. Strike with a heavy hammer.
6. Rotate around the tire until loose
7. Squirt soapy water on the loosen bead
8. Turn it over and do it on the other side.
9. Remove the rim half.
10. Turn it over, place something (2X4) to hold the rim in contact with the floor. Do a dance on the first side because it probably reseated, hence the soapy water.

Without a bead breaker you can spray silicone lube liberally at the bead, do little dance around the tire, repeat and will gradually come off. Lesson learned at an airport with limited tools just be patient if you try it.

the wheels are two halves bolted together but then you still need a bead breaker to get the tire off.
How to change tires – are the wheels built in halves that you can disassemble or is it like a car tire and you have to use one of those tire removal machines? I am not at the airplane now and won’t have access for a few days to look.

1. What’s the size of the nose wheel tire on the IVP?
