One thing noticed early on is that the AHRS seems to have a befuddled concept of what heading the airplane is pointing to. The green bug will sometimes be off the screen but usually off ~30 degrees to one side or the other. Shows usually about a 60 knot crosswind on the Chelton. LOL. I'm told that means the AHRS needs to be calibrated. I purchased this AHRS from someone who felt he needed a Pinpoint when he upgraded to a turbine vs. a TSIO 550 for his airplane. I do not know if he included the software with the box. I had it installed by an electrical guy in Redmond and I'm not sure if he ever saw the software. I do have the manual and have read the procedures for adjusting the AHRS. Can't find a disc or any other software medium. The important question is - does this software come on a DVD and does someone have one they could duplicate and forward a copy of? Email me off list if you can help or call me at 360 301 1066. Hello = all,

I am in the fairly early test flight phase I  for = N31VP ( does the registration number make it obvious that it’s a = IVP?) .   One thing noticed early on is that the AHRS seems to = have a befuddled concept of what heading the airplane is pointing = to.  The green bug will sometimes be off the screen but usually off = ~30 degrees to one side or the other.  Shows usually about a 60 = knot crosswind on the Chelton.  LOL.

I’m = told that means the AHRS needs to be calibrated.  I purchased this = AHRS from someone who felt he needed a Pinpoint when he upgraded to a = turbine vs. a TSIO 550 for his airplane.  I do not know if he = included the software with the box.  I had it installed by an = electrical guy in Redmond and I’m not sure if he ever saw the = software.  I do have the manual and have read the procedures for = adjusting the AHRS.  Can’t find a disc or any  other = software medium.

The = important question is – does this software come on a DVD and does = someone have one they could duplicate and forward a copy = of?
