I had written some time ago that a sensor on the speed brake cartridge failed.  There is one sensor for deployment and one for stow.  If they don't match, they come slamming down and that was the start of my problem and it got worse.   PreciseFlight sent me a part (see pic) for a nominal charge and it fixed the problem.  The replacement is 3 wires to cut and solder and simple to accomplish.  Each sensor has a red LED to indicate "on" so troubleshooting is easy.  Small adjustments are done via the cams on the top of the cartridge with an allen key.  The first photo shows the replacement sensor and the second photo shows the sensor vertically screwed into place and the cam to the right.   When the blades extend the cam rotates to set off the sensor.  In the background is the location (empty) for the stow sensor which I replaced and that cam is just visible through the red blade opening.  Nice design and still clean internal components after 8 years in the wing.  [You can lose a finger with this thing]
