I found one on buy.com very cheap and works great.  Makes the screen a
"matte" finish.   Makes for watching movies on a airliner better too when
there is a lot of sunshine getting into the cabin.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I have the IPad brightness on full or are you
suggesting that I turn the auto adjust feature on, in addition?

The Garmin Pilot app does have a brightness control which auto sets to full
.  I surmise that it is primarily for night use.

Any recommendations for a glare screen?
