Another query for those who have gone before. =

I will soon be constructing the canopy for my L360 = and am=20 wondering what sort of latching mechanism I will need. I have the = original=20 latches which came with the kit, but have noticed other Lancairs with = latches=20 which are operable from both inside and outside the aircraft. It seems = to me=20 that from a safety point of view, having access from outside in the = event of an=20 accident could be very handy. I am aware of the kit which is available = with the=20 central operating handle and torque tube, but it looks rather complex = and=20 probably relatively heavy.

I am interested in comments from those of you who = have=20 completed your aircraft, about what latches you installed, and what you = like or=20 dislike about them.

Thanks again for your comments.
