Colyn, I to use both of these App's on my iPad.  One reason that I've used both was the lack of enroute charts on the part of Jepp [hence the need for Foreflight] but the lack of Canadian Data on Fore prompted the need for the Jepp. I get my Jepp subscription for charts anyway so getting it electonically was just a bonus. For my flight ops I need to have paper charts [or a second iPad] to be legal so for me the paper is a needed part of the equation.  I see that Jepp is bringing out enroute charts as well now [for iPad] so.. not sure if Foreflight will stick around on my iPad. Most likely I'll keep both due to the flight planning ability of ForeFlight... and the need for paper from Jepp. Fwiw

I'm a dyed in the wool jepp guy.
I used to have my bags of charts, then jepp view and printed charts and now jeppTC. Jepp is accurate, easy to read, up to date. then I got my ipad with foreflight....which I love. I am also running jeppTC which is pretty cool until it refused to show me anything one day because my subscription wasn't up to date. Now I'm looking that $500/year subscription in the face and wondering if I'm being stupid hanging onto that jepp subscription. Any other jepp to naco converts out there?
Can anyone think of a seriously good reason to pay $500 for jepp's?
