I am one of those parkers. P1 is used for all homebuilt parking and camping, warbirds, demo and occasionally big stuff on the pad. The streets off of P1 are unacceptable for movement due to the foot traffic. Typically, we fill up the first section (area51) with 'tupperware' then the RVs then general parking and camping. The notam doesn't allow much flexibility. Wind concerns are not valid. If you race, you get front center... I can inquire with the actual chairmen-she isn't the one to get it done.
