Having drilled a hole in each leg to accomodate the mouse trap springs, it seems possible for moisture to creep into the legs over time. I'm thinking about drilling a small access hole in the bottom of each leg for the purpose of injecting corrosion protection. Is this a good idea and what corrosion product would be recommended?
