I am using a computer with an XP operating system to update my Cheltons...and the 64 MB media cards, which is the largest capacity card the Cheltons will accept. I recognize that this will be a more serious problem in the future...and even now, the Smart Media cards are pretty tricky to use. (one issue, discovered early, is that if you insert or remove the card from the Chelton with power on the unit, it destroys the card...as in ruined...)

I'd really be interested in knowing a way ahead for the many Lancair owners who have Chelton systems installed, and would be willing to consolidate the available information and publish it on the LML and LOBO web site/newsletter.

If anyone has any good ideas on this (OK, OK, any ideas at all...), please send to me directly, or post to the LML and I'll pick them up here for consolidation and posting.
