From = my recollection, he had some cooling issues and the heat from the turbo = blistered his cowl paint due to tight clearances. This was done like a = prototype, but Lancair never offered it as an option. Too much work and = too expensive. Orin eventually sold the plane to start working on a = IV-P. Orin Riddell turbo normalized an IO-360 = in his=20 plane around 1998.  From my recollection, he had some cooling=20 issues and the heat from the turbo blistered his cowl paint due to = tight=20 clearances.  This was done like a prototype, but Lancair never = offered it=20 as an option.  Too much work and too expensive.  Orin = eventually sold=20 the plane to start working on a IV-P.  Don't know who owns it=20 now.
