 Just recently, I posted an inquiry on LML in reference to Aircraft Wraps.
I've had some Great feedback and replies . . . Thank You!!! and I'll keep
everyone posted. I Just realized another application possibility with a
similar product by 3M. It an old product recently updated and re-launched by
3M in the Later part of 2007, so it's relatively New. But used in Japan for
commercial applications in Hotel, Buildings, yachts, ect. The product is a
Laminate that will Mimic any surface Imaginable. Wood, Leather, metal,
stainless, stone, Marble, just about anything you can think of. I got a few
samples from a friend at 3M. This Stuff is Killer!!!
 
 
 
  I built my own Panel for my Legacy, and spent many hours designing and
re-designing my Custom one of a Kind Panel, after which I spent more time
trying to decide what to coat it with. I ended up painting it which turned out
just fine. But, having found and experimented with this New 3M Product, I've
probably would have gone a different route.
 
 
 
 If anyone out their is working on your Panel and would like to do something a
little different and unique, Let me Know. I would be willing to apply the
finish of your choosing to your panel for FREE, just pay for the material. In
return for some photo's of you finished panel. I'm almost tempted to re-do
mine. . . NOT!!!  I've enclosed a photo of my Panel so you can see my
workmanship, I'm also an A&P. I would just like to do a panel in this product.
There are over 400 different finishes to choose from. Let your Imagination run
wild and I'll see if I could bring it to life.
