I had a friend, who was highly experienced, lose control of a Beech 18 on take off when the left deice boot came off.....mostly. About 20% remained attached and the remainder trailed over the wing. Has anybody had any problems with separation in flight? What speed? Any control problems? I'd certainly like to use it on our ES.
