My coaxial cable keeps coming loose from the TNC connector.  How do you secure the coax to a TNC connector?

The exact method depends on the connector.  Is it solder? Crimp? Compression?  Each manufacturer will have a spec for preparing the coax for use with a specific TNC connector.  Look up the manufacturer and the connector part number, then make sure the connector is appropriate for the coax.  For example you may find your connector can be used with RG58, RG141, RG142, and RG400.  On the other hand it may work with RG142 and RG400 but not RG58 or other coax.  (I wouldn't use RG58 anyway.)  That's why it's important to have the spec for the connector and follow the manufacturer's assembly instructions.
