My band saw long ago lost it's rip fence.  With many
pieces needing to be cut to a close tolerance I was trying to come up with a way to clamp a fence to the
table and in most cases it didn't work.
I found a nice scrap of extruded aluminum about like
a complex "C" section and again tried to clamp it to
the table, with no luck.
Lancair kindly included their super glue and accelerator
in my kit and I have found it easy to glue the channel
to the table in only seconds and create a nice rip fence.
A bang of the fist along with a putty knife scraper to
remove the glue residue is all it takes to clean the table
for the next cut.  Give it a try... you'll like it.
