Concorde supplies a pamphlet with the battery that recommends increased
voltage for lower temperatures.  About 14.1 volts for temps below 50 degrees
and 13.8 for 85 and above as I recall, anyway its graphed out on a scale.  
Bill Bainbridge of B&C recommends a spring and fall seasonal adjustment. Or
you could buy the B&C temperature sensor that attaches to the battery and
automatically adjusts the charging voltage.
I have had no problems with my Concorde RG 25XL in service for about 18
months so far.  The 4.5 year old B&C Gel Cell was working fine but I wanted
insurance so I replaced it.  Also running a B&C adjustable voltage
regulator, that in my opinion no homebuilt should be without, for its
overvoltage protection.   Steve
