Speaking with Bob Nuckolls, he tells me that the "gel cells" at battery stores really ARE RG, and the marketing people have their head up where the sun doesn't shine in order to get a name that sounds good without regard to the facts. One contributor commented about the cable on the retractable step wearing through the guide tube. I flew yesterday in the company L4P demonstrator (one SWEET airplane) with Don Goetz, and he tells me that he puts nylaflow tubing over the cable inside the metal guide.
