Try Thomas Products-
http://www.thomasprod.com/flow.htm
They have flow switches that open/close when fluid is flowing. I am
installing these as a complicated alternative to the 2 sight tubes.
I initially got the 1900 switch, 0.1 GPM flow swithc point, 1/4 NPT, SPDT,
in brass (aluminum is available for "large" orders). However, it was
quite heavy (1.8 lbs ? for 2), so I ordered the model: 2100 in ploysulfone
(much lighter) with the adapters for NPT. I understand the polysulfone is
fuel proof and think it will work fine, although I know aluminum/brass is
preferable.<<
I forgot to mention that I am also installing one of these in the header
vent line to warn me if fuel is being pumped overboard. This may be of
interest for those using the manual transfer system.
