Get the ugliest and loudest color you can find and simply stick them on the item to be addressed later. When using "Temporary" nuts and bolts paint them first with bright red paint so we can see them easier, I've discovered "temporary" hardware in airplanes with over 200 hours on them. Scary part was that they were in the primary control surfaces.
