Mike is not only a fine test pilot, he also is an excellent instructor.  I 
recently sold my Lancair 290 to a Pilot from Florida who had been inactive 
for some time.  Mike came up to Michigan with the buyer and flew the 290 back 
to Florida with the buyer in the LH seat.  During the trip the buyer got dual 
instruction and after they arrived Mike gave him additional Dual.  The new 
owner is now checked out properly and he has already made a cross country to 
Georgia and back.  He feels good about getting a great checkout and I feel 
better knowing how good and thorough Mike is.
