My installation eliminates the header tank and utilizes the forward hinges supplied by Lancair. Since you did not use their hinges possibly you have not followed Lancair's recommended 16 layers IIRC of unidirectional carbon fiber on the canopy frame forward of the plexiglass. This greatly stiffens the canopy frame and should eliminate the flexing problem. Installing the plexiglass would also help if not yet done. Since I have a slooow build kit, I had to install all stiffening foam on canopy frame. The foam is the width of the longerons with the fiberglass overlay extending down over the longerons to assure alignment of the canopy and longerons. If after all of this the fit is still binding, simply sand the forward and aft edges of canopy to fit. Good luck and keep building Doug >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
