Thanks for the pictures.

I understand that the plans tell you to make the cutout to accept the hinges. I want to know if its possible to do it without doing the cutout. I took some measurements today on my canopy frame and the hinge and I think it is. Im just wondering if anyone else has done it this way.

You have to modify the tank. You have to cut the tank and remold it to
accept hinges. I have some pictures of this posted in the gallery. It is
not that difficult but you have to be sure to strengthen the connection
area. I have some pictures of the inside with the baffles and the notches
cut and reformed.
