Thanks Charles,
I was able to replace the clock/battery this weekend. And it looks like my
tach display also doesn't have the header pins installed. So, I'll try to do
the same as you mention; solder in some pins from the back side and then
connect up one of the switches to reload the hours.
The rest of the system is back to functioning [clock, full tank total gallons,
tach hours is accumulating] thanks for your help! Still to fix: fuel pressure,
carb air temp

As I mentioned, here are the instructions re-typed.The instruction sheet I had was a fax of a bad copy in Feb ’07. It would take me longer to fix the OCR than retyping, so with retyping it is included below.
