Ok, here's the fix for the LNC-2 landing gear pressure problem. It's getting
hot here in So Cal, so it was time I figured out a fix for everyone having the
hydraulic pressure problem. This is a simple modification to the existing pump
system.
The switches are available at McMaster - Carr, not to expensive. The diodes
you can get at any electronic store or Digi-Key. You'll need to put together a
little manifold to have two pressure switches on the lo side of the pump. A
little wiring and some adjustment, this should work great.
It will automatically release the pressure in the lo side of the landing gear
during flight. No more cracking the dump valve to drop the gear.
