However, I was wondering if anybody had any insight on two types of paint, namely, (1) polyurethane and (2) acrylic-urethane. I am told that the acrylic-urethane paint is a more advance, more devloped paint and has more 'body" to it (weight?!?). So far, I had two paint shops provide me with estimates, both highly recomended, but the two shops uses different paints. The estimates are actually pretty close, about $6k without clear coat (single stage process), add between $1.5k to $2.2k to clearcoat. So, I am more confused now and basically have to decide on the two diffrerent paints and whether to clear coat or not.
