For soundproofing material that is lighter than what Lancair were supplying
3 years ago, and much less expensive, check out www.theinsulator.com.
There are several grades and thicknesses -- check which ones have FAA/PMA
approval.  They also supply a very good spray adhesive and aluminized tape
to facilitate installation.
