A observation on this topic.  When TruTrak could not de= liver the 2 1/4" unit I had ordered I opted for the much more expensive Mid= -Continent.  Not what I had planned and a whole lot more money but I n= eeded something reliable while awaiting the Chelton Pinpoint GADAHRS. = The AI was a little unstable and we thought that it had not been set for t= he 8 degree panel so we sent it back on a rush basis.

A few days later Mid-Continent called and left a message say= ing they had replaced a bearing and asked for return shipping directions sa= ying it would go out the following day.  Then they called back and lef= t a message saying that it would go out that same day.  They then call= ed back a third time and Mark picked up as the woman at Mid-Cont who did no= t realize the phone was off the hook said to someone else in their office "= I can't get anyone there - let's ship it overnight express".

Seems that Mid-Continent not only makes a quality product an= d stands behind their warranty, but they default to getting product to the = customer ASAP.  Very impressive!
